Reminded me of the book “The Art of Comforting” that i bought with the hope it will give me some tips & tricks to say 😆boy was i wrong! The author explains how after going through a tough time of losing her husband she had her friend come visit from another country and was just a beacon of strength for her NOT by talking or giving advice, but simply by being there to allow her to fall apart. To sit on the floor at night and cry her heart out and finally having some relief from the rocks she was carrying inside- trying so hard not to be a burden so to make it easier for everyone who was worried about her…
She said THIS is what inspired her to write the book, because she realized how little we as humans realize nowadays how MUCH comfort simple listening can bring for the people we care about ❤️
I hope you now realize and accept that you are of high intelligence. ^.^
Thank you for your gentle comment, Dave. ❤️ I’m a work in progress and perpetually in a state of learning.
And if we all were in a state of learning, this world would be such a better place. Your progress shows. ^.^
Wow
I love this prompt 😍
Thank you so much for everything you share.

What a joy to find you here on Substack.
I am a therapist, and I consider it the greatest joy and privilege over the last few years to work with some remarkable young girls.
Often, at the end of our work I will gift them a copy of one of your poems.
Thank you.

You have grace, I merely have curiosity. Listening is difficult until you become still enough to make it easier.
Wonderful, thank you
I really love the writing prompt at the end. Definitely going to take a moment and think on it
Great writing
This speaks to my soul, a listening soul like yours. Thank you for your beautiful words ❤️
I could relate to so much of your initial comments.
I have learned so much about everything from reading your poetry and stories.
You are so very talented. Your ability to put words down into feelings is amazing. If that isn't smart , I don't know what is 🌺
Love you Nikita, this is gorgeous Xx
